GOLDBECK takes over building management for RLI – logistics property at Leipzig / Halle Airport
GOLDBECK Gebäudemanagement GmbH – part of GOLDBECK GmbH – has secured the contract for the technical and infrastructural building management of a 15,000 m² logistics property with an office extension in one of the top logistics regions in Germany, in Kabelsketal near Leipzig / Halle Airport. Klöpferholz GmbH, one of the largest timber marketers in Germany, operates the logistics facility at Eichenallee 5 as a fully automated production warehouse and delivery center for more than 20,000 wooden panels on a total of three levels.
The five-year service contract includes maintenance of all technical and structural trades, winter service and maintenance of green spaces, caretaker service and customer support on site.
The logistics building completed at the end of 2019 by GOLDBECK Nordost GmbH as general contractor is one of several commercial properties in the region that GOLDBECK has built. RLI Investors GmbH, an investment and asset manager from Munich specializing in logistics real estate with a track record of around one billion euros in assets under management, has acquired the new building for the open real estate special AIF “RLI Logistics Fund – Germany II”.

The logistics property is located on the A14 / A9, around ten minutes by car to the west of Leipzig / Halle Airport.
